Frederick is a centrally heated traditional style narrow boat based in Gas Street Basin, central Birmingham; launched in 2010 "Freddie" has been purpose built to provide both private party charters and public tours.

Frederick has Maritime and Coastguard Agency approval to carry up to 36 passengers and is ideally situated to provide party cruises along the heart of Britain's canal network. Trips can be booked for any length, but a typical cruise lasts between 2 and 4 hours. 

There is ample seating throughout the three sections of the boat, an open fore deck with bench seating, a front cabin with side seating and a rear saloon bar with both side seating and bar stools. The bow section houses the toilet and hand washing facilities.

There is a built in PA system, an acoustic piano and an IPod compatible CD player available for your entertainment needs. We can also provide recommendations for piano and guitar players as well as karaoke if desired. Catering can be arranged as needed.
