COVID-19 guidelines for passengers on board Frederick and Victoria Boat

You are required to submit a list of your guest attendees in advance of your party, which should include full name and contact details. This information is required ahead of your booking and is for the sole purpose of track and trace.

If any of your guests have any symptoms associated with COVID-19 or have been in proximity to anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 14 days, should not attend.

Staff on board are to complete a self assessment of symptoms associated with COVID-19 each day. They must not attend work if they display any of the symptoms. They must be tested before returning back to work.

All members of the group are required to wear a face covering when waiting on the tow path to board the boat.  The face covering must be worn until you have boarded the boat and are seated within your groups. Staff will carry out a COVID-19 safety brief and once this is complete face coverings can be removed.  Face coverings will be required again when you are exiting the boat and leaving the tow path area.

Upon entering the boat, all attendees must sanitise their hands.

There are sanitisation stations set up around the boat, for guests to use as frequently as they wish.

The toilet on board is a shared facility and we have provided disposable toilet seat coverings. Toilets will also be cleaned by staff at regular intervals throughout your booking.

Staff on board the boat attending to the bar, will be wearing PPE. Guests are not currently required to wear face coverings under current guidelines, However we do carry a supply of disposable masks should any guest request one.

Staff on board will deep clean all areas of the boat between each booking, and at regular intervals whilst you are on board.

The capacity limits of the boats have been more than halved. This is to allow for social distancing of 1 m plus , for people who are not part of the same household or social bubble. It is a requirement that you adhere to social distancing rules whilst on board. Failure to do so, will be treated the same as antisocial behaviour and could result in your booking being terminated.

Both boats have open areas which will remain open at all times. This allows a good flow of ventilation throughout. You are encouraged to enjoy the outdoor area as much as possible but must adhere to social distancing rules.

When ordering drinks from the bar, please do not congregate around this area. Please be respectful of the staff member at the bar and maintain your 1 m distance. There are plastic protective screens in situ.

Should you have any concerns whilst on board, please inform staff immediately.

The safety of our staff and customers is paramount. We would like to thank you in advance for following these guidelines.
